RE: BREAK THE SILENCE EXTRAVAGANZA ON BEHALF OF BATTERED WOMEN AND CHILDREN
Faces of Success Radio and Recording studio presents the “Break The Silence Extravaganza” fundraising concert, and staff are preparing for Sparks, Nevada’s biggest and most electrifying, two-day fundraising event of the fall, on behalf of the Leafe Community.
On Thursday, October 7th, 2021 we will be hosting a celebrity meet & greet and fundraiser with several celebrity guests including Actor/ Director Danny Glover, and the spokeswoman of the “Break The Silence Extravaganza” tours and Grammy award winner Juanita Wynn, at the Revision Brewing Company located at 380 South Rock Blvd in Sparks, Nevada 89431. Doors Open at 1pm.
The Break The Silence Extravaganza live concert will feature some of R&B’s and Hip Hop's top performers and actors on Friday, October 8th, 2021 we are hosting the live concert event with live performances by Howard Hewett, Jaunita Wynn, Carolyn Griffey, Jon Jon of Troop, Chesney Claire and many more and a fashion show presented by Fantasy Star, with celebrity guest appearances by “Rodney Allen Rippy” and “Marvaless” and “TaSmallz, with special guest speakers such as: Adrienne Feemster, Nate Williams, Pierre Ellis, Jonathan Coleman, the promoter Pearl Johnson, Sheena Cloutier and more at the El Grande Ballroom located at 670 Greenbrae Drive in Sparks, Nevada 89431. Doors open at 6pm.
There will be lots of community leaders and vendors present such as: D.A.R.E, SAFE EMBRACE, THE GENERATOR, BLACK WALL STREET SPARKS NEVADA, DAY DREAMERS PRODUCTIONS, 95.5 THE VIBE, THE REVISION BREWING COMPANY OF SPARKS, TRUE MEMORIES CAR CLUB, CHOICES OF FREEDOM.
We want to thank a host of sponsors, WALMART, OFFICE DEPOT, SHELLY’S HARDWARE, THE HOME DEPOT, RENO ACES, ORIENTAL TRAINING, KFOY-AM 1060.
This letter is to inform you that you are cordially invited to this meaningful event. We are preparing for a percentage of the proceeds to benefit LEAFE Community in an effort to improve the housing opportunities available to victims and their families. The current housing programs available are strained and lack the resources to offer permanent housing. Because of housing issues, victims find themselves returning to their abusers, oftentimes suffering more for seeking help in the first place. LEAFE Community aims to change this.
We hope to raise upwards of $500,000 by monetary sponsorship. We are also seeking sponsored assisted air and ground transportation to assure attendance for the celebrities based on their honorarium attendance, as well as sponsored assisted hotel room accommodations (4 star plus), and any donations for ticket raffles and catered food services for celebrity guest whom will attend on a honorarium for the domestic violence assisted programs that will have a lasting and tangible impact in the Sparks, Nevada neighborhoods.

Simple events and radio, as well as televised campaigns like this can provide just the encouragement needed to keep our community educated, motivated, healthy and safe and can show our national leaders how important the contributions for these types of programs really are.
Much of our funding comes from sponsorship resources. However, this type of funding does not keep up with the rising cost. If we do not raise private funds we are threatened by reducing or eliminating fundraisers on behalf of victims of domestic violence and their families. These kinds of tragedies can be avoided if we had more support from caring individuals like you.
